Nuova sistem tray + notifiche: per KDE 4.4

Qualche tempo fa avevamo speculato un po'[1] sul "come quando" e il "dove come" (cit) la nuova system tray e le nuove notifiche presentate da Marco Martin sarebbero entrate in KDE.

Seigo aveva già anticipato che si parlava di 4.4 ma qualcuno non era del tutto convinto e credeva che le avremmo avute con la 4.3 (beh ma in trunk non c'è niente, quindi...).

Adesso veniamo a sapere che tutto l'ambaradan risiede attualmente in playground, procederà verso extragear dopo la 4.3 e verrà stabilizzata e integrata in KDE Base per la 4.4.

Magari in questi giorni provo a compilarla e dare alcune istruzioni/pareri, ma solo se può interessare.

This is the client library (link will change in some days) to be used in place of KSystemtrayIcon (with a very similar api) it takes care of all the dbus talking and is quite simple to use, it just offers some functions to set properties like icons and tooltips and some signals to notify about the various types of activation from the user. This will go into extragear on the next few days, so applications can start to experiment with it, keeping in mind that is still experimental.     update, la libreria è in extragear -ora- (quindi quel link è rrrotto)

    anche se finchè i port delle varie applicazioni non è committato (ci sarà probabilmente kmix e spero kopete) c'è ben poco da testare, a parte un piccolo programma di test che non fa nulla
