Cchiù Ubuntu ppi tutti! :)
Non credo che il progetto Ubuntu-Trading citato sulla lattina abbia niente a che fare con il Ubuntu Linux, ma il termine ubuntu è usato nella stessa accezione e sul sito c’è lo stesso video di Nelson Mandela che è stato distribuito per un po’ nei video di esempio del sistema operativo.

Avrei accettato benissimo di vivere con un paio di bug noti per qualche altro mese piuttosto che forzare una nuova versione (incompatibile) di libxml.Si chiama “pianificazione”.
Just released Gnote 0.4.0. Dependency changes: now libxml++ 2.26 is REQUIRED, because of nasty bugs in older release. Upstream itself said it was unusable. Also, if you are a packager, be aware that libxml++ 2.26 break the ABI silently.

Sembra che finalmente queste non-nuovissime bozze verranno trasformate in codice, effettuati i dovuti ammodernamenti: via quella orenda title bar, il controllo sarà simile alla notifica del volume.Ci sta.
Nokia lancia Ovi Store: disastro o successo?

Ci si lamenta che il nuovissimo Ovi Store di applicazioni Nokia sia stato un disastro, solo perché c’è stato un vero e proprio assalto mondiale che i server hanno retto male.
Evidentemente l’attesa era molto alta e alla Nokia dovevano prevederlo, ma si tratta semplicemente di problemi relativi alla enorme richiesta. Siamo sicuri che si possa definire un “disastro”?

Microsoft e’ stata condannata a risarcire un’azienda canadese che prima di tutti e’ arrivata a sintetizzare i principi base del formato XML. Principi finiti poi in un brevetto, che BigM ha violato con l’introduzione di OOXML

L’esercito statunitense passerà a Windows Vista per gli uffici in cui è necessario Microsoft Office.Lasciando stare il fatto che da qualche parte nelle stanze meno accessibili dell’esercito USA esistono installazioni Linux e in generale unix-based, strano che ormai non aspettino Seven.

The upgrade will include getting rid of all the Office 2003 programs and installing Office 2007 in its place, and is scheduled for a Dec. 31 completion date. Half the Army’s computers (they have 744,000 desktop units) have Office 2007 so far, and 13 percent are on Vista, which was released in January 2007. Windows 7 is supposed to launch before year’s end, so the Army will be fully on Vista sometime after Microsoft’s next generation OS is already launched.”
